A woman with long, wavy blonde hair is sitting at a round wooden table, writing in a notebook with a pen. She is wearing a white blouse and multiple rings, and her left arm has a gold bracelet. On the table, there is an open leather planner, a MacBook laptop displaying a picture of a chair, and a drink with a straw. Behind her, there are brown pillows on a black cushioned bench near a window with natural light.

Behind The House of Hayes

Founder and Principal Designer of The House of Hayes. I believe the best homes aren't simply beautiful, they feel like the people who live there.

Creating or transforming a home can quickly become overwhelming, hundreds of decisions competing for your attention, budgets, timelines, and the fear of making an expensive mistake. That's where I come in. I get to know how you live, what you're drawn to, and how you want your home to feel, then bring it all together into something collected, intentional, and uniquely yours.

Before founding The House of Hayes, I spent more than 20 years in corporate and executive leadership. That experience shaped the way I run every project today, with organization, clear communication, and strong project management. My job isn't to tell you what I would do. It's to listen closely enough to uncover what feels like you.

I'd Love to Hear About Your Home
Every great design begins with a conversation. You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out. We'll take it from there.

Hi, I’m Jessica

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

When I'm not designing, you'll most likely find me spending time with my husband and our two daughters, planning our next family adventure, heading to dance pickup, moving something around in my own house for the hundredth time, or finding an excuse for a little Disney magic.

I'm a wife, mom, designer, lifelong lover of beautiful spaces, and firm believer that the little details matter, in homes and in life.

After more than two decades in executive leadership, I made the decision to step away from the corporate world and pursue something that had always been a part of me. The House of Hayes is the culmination of so many pieces of my life, and I feel incredibly lucky to now help create those places for other families.

HOW I WORK

I don't believe your home should look like mine, or anyone else's. I want to understand how your family lives, what you love, what you need, and how you want to feel when you walk through your front door. Then I bring those pieces together with intention, creating a home that feels elevated without feeling untouchable, and timeless while still feeling distinctly you.

You bring the life and the story. I'll help you create the home that holds it.
