Hayes Residence

A study in evolution—creating a warmer, more collected home for the season we're in now.

The Hayes Residence is especially personal, as it is our own home, and a space I had already designed once before. The original interiors reflected a different season of both our family and my design perspective: cool grays, crisp whites, polished brass. I loved it for many years, but over time, I found myself craving something warmer. More grounded. More reflective of the way I wanted our family to live.

Rather than simply redecorating, we reimagined the home. We moved away from the cooler palette and introduced creamy neutrals, natural woods, deep brown tones, and aged brass, softening clean contemporary elements with materials that feel more timeless. The result feels quieter than the original home, but also richer.
