Powder Bath

A LITTLE DRAMA IN THE POWDER BATH

Proof that the smallest rooms can make the biggest statement.

This powder bath started as a simple, builder-grade space, but its small footprint made it the perfect place to take a few design risks. Rather than completely reconfiguring the room, we focused on adding character, contrast, and thoughtful architectural details that would make the space feel intentional from the moment you opened the door.

We added beadboard and decorative trim to the lower walls, carrying the deep, dramatic finish onto the door for a more immersive feel. Above it, a soft black-and-white floral wallpaper brings movement, and we continued it across the ceiling for an unexpected, enveloping moment.

The builder-grade vanity was replaced with a beautiful console sink, instantly opening up the room. Warm brass plumbing and a softly curved mirror provide just the right amount of warmth against the black millwork...
